Nearly naked man accused of burglary
WINONA, Minn. (AP) -- A nearly naked man with bleeding hands was spotted at a Winona fertilizer company early Saturday.
The Winona Daily News reports he was wearing jailhouse orange by afternoon.
Police say a driver arriving at Anderson Fertilizer found a bloody, broken window and a young man inside clad only in boxers and socks. He bolted, but his description reminded officers of a disturbance just hours before at a residence where police recovered a wallet and clothes abandoned by a man who left wearing next to nothing.
The officers returned to the home on a hunch. They were told he had come back, cleaned up his bloody hands and body and left with a change of clothes. Then they heard a car speed off and gave chase.
The 18-year-old faces burglary and alcohol charges.
