Saving a pet, but at what cost?
Batman, a 10-year-old German shepherd mixed-breed, has been successfully treated for brain cancer. Veterinary surgeon G. Elizabeth Pluhar is giving Batman medication to wake him up after his one-year MRI. The scan did not show any signs of cancer.
