Medical examiner: Gary Tinsley died of enlarged heart

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner says football player Gary Tinsley died of an enlarged heart.

Tinsley was found unresponsive April 6 in his campus apartment. The medical examiner's office said he died of natural causes.

Tinsley played for the University of Minnesota Gophers in 44 games, and started in every game for the last two seasons. The 22-year-old senior from Jacksonville, Florida, was weeks away from receiving his degree.
