House Budget Committee chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wis.,told a sold-out audience at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library that Republicans will win big in November and they will work with moderate Democrats, as President Ronald Reagan did, to end Washington gridlock.
The Wisconsin congressman is on the short list of possible GOP vice presidential candidates. He compared President Obama's presidency to that of former President Jimmy Carter, and described both as failed presidents and failed ideology.
