State Fair Sing Along taking requests
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Warm up those vocal cords. The Giant Sing Along is returning to the 2012 Minnesota State Fair.
Fair fans can suggest their favorite songs for this year's playlist by going to the State Fair website, www.mnstatefair.org , now through June 14. The final playlist will be announced in July.
Last year, nearly 50,000 visitors got to sing together, karaoke-style, during the Great Minnesota Get-Together. This year's sing along will feature a more extensive playlist and extended hours, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Giant Sing Along is located on Murphy Avenue, across from the Pet Center, and is free and open to all visitors each day of the fair.
This year's Minnesota State Fair runs from Aug. 23 through Labor Day, Sept. 3.
