KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- The U.S.-led coalition says one of its helicopters has crashed in Afghanistan, killing two NATO service members.
The coalition released no other information about the crash today in eastern Afghanistan and it was not immediately clear whether it was an accident. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
In the same region, Afghan police say two civilians have been killed in a nighttime raid by NATO troops against militants. Police say 12 militants also died. NATO denies any civilian deaths.
And in southern Afghanistan, the Taliban is claiming responsibility for two suicide bombings in southern Afghanistan that killed at least 22 people and wounded 50 near the huge coalition airbase in Kandahar.
