ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) -- Sanford Health is opening the doors on a $55 million hospital in the northeastern South Dakota city of Aberdeen.
The American News reports that more than 2,000 people attended an open house Tuesday at the three-story, 113,000-square-foot Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center. A ribbon-cutting ceremony at the 48-bed hospital is scheduled Thursday.
Sanford Health is based in Sioux Falls, S.D., and Fargo, N.D. It has a presence in more than 100 communities in seven states.
