A fan's experience of the Lynx and the Olympics

Tomorrow, the U.S. Women's basketball team will play France for the gold medal at the London Olympics.

In yesterday's semi-final game, Lynx guard Lindsay Whalen sparked a third quarter rally, scoring six straight points to help lead the U.S. team to an 86 to 73 win over Australia. Whalen is playing in the Olympics for the first time. Two of her Lynx teammates, Maya Moore and Seimone Augustus are also on the U.S. team.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Jayne Solinger, who produces All Things Considered here at MPR. Solinger is a big Lynx fan and is in London to watch the women's team.
