A Wisconsin company is recalling turkey sausage that may contain pieces of gloves.
The USDA issued the nationwide alert today that Johnsonville Sausage was recalling 48,000 pounds of "Turkey Sausage with Cheddar Cheese."
Johnsonville alerted the USDA after receiving two consumer complaints. There have been no reports of injury. The recalled meat was produced in late May and bears an expiration date of August 20, 2012.
The affected product comes in 13.5-oz. vacuum packages, identified by establishment number "EST. P-34224" inside the USDA inspection mark and the date "08/20/2012 2."
