MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Minneapolis police say a suspicious package that prompted a charter school to be evacuated was not a bomb.
A parent found the package on the street near the front door of Fraser Academy in northeast Minneapolis around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Students and teachers were evacuated to St. Mary's Church.
The Minneapolis bomb squad used a robot to examine the package. KSTP-TV reports police blew up the package and found it wasn't a bomb.
No other details were released.
