GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- A high school English teacher from Drayton has published a second novel.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that Kenneth C. Gardner Jr. recently released "The Dark Between The Stars."
The book is about an 18-year-old man living in a small North Dakota town in 1923. A confrontation forces him, two friends and their cousin to hitch a ride on a freight train and head into the American West.
The book is in print, available in some local books stores and through online book sellers. It's also available as an electronic book.
Gardner also has written another novel and a non-fiction book.
