Minnesota for Marriage released a new TV ad on Thursday that immediately drew protests from opponents of the marriage amendment. The ad purports to show consequences that have followed the legalization of same-sex marriage in other states. Critics point out that the Minnesota vote is not about legalizing same-sex marriage, but about making the existing prohibition of same-sex marriage part of the state Constitution. Here's the new ad:
