American Airlines says it is adding nonstop flights from Fargo to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The Forum reports that the airline is opening up two new domestic destinations and four new international services that will begin in 2013.
American regional manager Paige Teel says the flights will be scheduled one per day, starting on Feb. 14. Tickets will be available starting Sunday.
Fargo Municipal Airport Authority executive director Shawn Dobberstein says the authority secured a $750,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation and $300,000 of local contributions to make the service possible.
