Minneapolis police are investigating the shooting death of a man dropped off at Hennepin County Medical Center on Tuesday afternoon.
The adult male, who has not yet been identified, was brought to the hospital by a vehicle that then left immediately. Police said he died in the emergency room.
Minneapolis police said in a statement that the man's death was likely linked to reported gunshots near 24th Street West and Pillsbury Avenue South in Minneapolis at about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Police have not made any arrests. They're asking that anyone with knowledge of the case contact city homicide investigators
