We're in the eighth week of the state legislative session. But the big battles over issues like same-sex marriage and tax increases are still waiting to be fought.
One big factor expected to influence politics at the Capitol for the rest of the session is the February budet forecast which is due out later this week.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with two veterans of state politics: Former DFL House Speaker Margaret Anderson Kelliher, and former Republican House Minority Leader Marty Siefert.
