Gopher men's basketball team basking in glow of beating a No. 1 Indiana

For the first time in over 20 years, the University of Minnesota men's basketball team has defeated the No. 1-ranked squad in the country.

The Gophers shocked Indiana 77-73 last night at the Barn in Minneapolis.

Minnesota, which came into the game in seventh place in the Big Ten, consistently out-hustled the Hoosiers to pull off the upset.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Howard Sinker, digital sports editor for the Startribune.
