FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- No one was hurt in a stove fire that prompted the evacuation of 260 children from a North Dakota day care.
Fire officials say it took staff at the Small Wonders Daycare in Fargo fewer than three minutes to move the children to safety at an adjacent hotel on Wednesday.
Officials say a sprinkler system extinguished the fire before firefighters arrived. The building suffered what was described as minor fire, water and smoke damage.
