Abortion opponents gather around a cross Friday, March 29, 2013 outside Planned Parenthood near University Avenue and Vandalia Street in St. Paul. They were demonstrating their opposition to abortion at what they characterized as a prayer vigil.

Protesters on both sides of the abortion issue gathered Friday for dueling demonstrations outside the Planned Parenthood office in St. Paul.
Around 500 demonstrators were in attendance by midday. Police say no incidents were reported and patient care was not disrupted at the annual Good Friday protest.
