MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Young filmmakers have less than two weeks to submit their entries to a Minnesota film festival for high school students.
The deadline for entering the .EDU Film Festival is April 26.
Each year the festival receives hundreds of short videos and films from students across Minnesota. A panel of media educators narrows the field to about 50 shorts that will be shown at the festival in May.
Entering the festival is free, and students may enter as many times as they want. The festival accepts entries from any Minnesota high school student or young filmmaker under the age of 19.
This year's festival will be held May 17.
