Tracks reopen after train derails in S. Minn.
Railroad tracks after reopened in the southern Minnesota town of Blue Earth after 17 cars derailed on a train carrying corn.
Union Pacific spokesman Mark Davis says the tracks reopened just after 4 a.m. Tuesday.
The 73-car train was carrying corn from Fairmont, Minn., to Blair, Neb., when the derailment happened about 5:20 p.m. Sunday. Nobody was hurt.
Ten cars tipped on their sides.
Crews had to replace about 1,400 feet of track and two road crossings because of the damage. The line carries around two trains a day.
Cleanup of the spilled corn continues. The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
