When people hear the words "In a world," they immediately force their voices to drop an octave or two and launch into a spontaneous rendition of a movie trailer. Actor Lake Bell has been living with this for five years now. She wrote, directed and starred in her movie, called "In a World ... " which opens this weekend in the Twin Cities. It's a romantic comedy set in the small but lucrative world of Hollywood voice-over artists. A young woman, played by Bell, is looking to break into a male-dominated profession.
Bell told Euan Kerr that while she hopes the film entertains, there are some serious issues addressed in the film about how women, in particular, use their voices.
