Authorities are ramping up the search for a 17-year-old runaway from Stacy, Minn., after she's been missing for more than a month.
Jacelyn Greeson disappeared from her aunt's on July 1, although she was briefly in contact with family from Becker, Minn., a few days later. Since then, Greeson hasn't contacted her family.
Because Greeson has been missing more than a month, her status is changing from missing/runaway to endangered runaway. Police are investigating.
"I'm working closely right now with the [National Center for] Missing and Exploited Children and following up on tips that I receive, and keeping in contact with family members," said Chisago County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Jeff Wessel.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children lists Greeson as a white female, who stands at 5'2" and weighs about 120 pounds. Her eyes are hazel and her hair is blond, although the center notes she could have dyed it.
