The three teams competing to redesign Nicollet Mall have submitted artist renderings of their visions for the downtown Minneapolis corridor.
Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak on Tuesday will take media and city representatives on a walking tour of Nicollet Mall to make his pitch for a makeover. Nicollet Mall had its last major reconstruction in the late 1980s.
The three design teams will present their ideas to the public on Sept. 17 at the Guthrie Theater, and city officials will name a winner sometime after that.
