Duluth drinking water judged Minnesota's best

Duluth's drinking water has been judged the best tasting in Minnesota.

Duluth won the 2013 "Best in Glass'' drinking water taste test Wednesday during the MN American Water Works Association's annual conference in Duluth.

International Falls, Moorhead and St. Cloud also made it to the finals. Also competing were St. Peter, Rochester, Mankato and East Grand Forks.

Duluth wins a trophy and wall plaque.

International Falls was selected as the people's choice winner for best tasting drinking water at the 2013 Minnesota State Fair, and came in second in Wednesday's competition. Last year International Falls won the Best in Glass trophy at the state conference, and went on to tie for second place at the association's national drinking water competition in Denver.
