COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) -- The Europe storm death toll has risen to 15 after Danish police say a driver was killed when he crashed into a tree knocked down by violent gusts.
 
	

Monday's storm was one of the worst in years in western and northern Europe. Authorities said Tuesday that dozens were injured in Denmark as wind gusts up to 120 mph swept across the country.
 
	
Germany had six deaths, Britain five, Denmark two and France and the Netherlands had one each. Tens of thousands of people were without power Tuesday in Sweden, Denmark, Estonia and Latvia.  


Meanwhile, in Portgugal  near the fishing village of Nazare, Brazilian Carlos Burle surfed a wave that could be the biggest wave ever ridden. Maya Gabeira, also from Brazil, nearly drowned and was taken to hospital with a broken ankle after falling in a big wave.
