We air Kerri Miller's conversation with crime novelist Michael Connelly earlier this month at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul. His latest book is "The Gods of Guilt," featuring defense attorney Mickey Haller, known as "the Lincoln Lawyer."

Michael Connelly is a former crime reporter for the Los Angeles Times. His first novel, The Black Echo, won an Edgar Award. "The Gods of Guilt" is his 26th novel.

This was the fifth Talking Volumes event of the season.
