At 5 p.m. today, tickets for the Minnesota Orchestra's first four concerts of a post lock out season go on sale to the public.
However, because the orchestra sold many tickets in advance, only 500 to 600 tickets remain for the Feb. 7 opening concert.
That's because donors and season subscribers were given first crack at tickets for the concerts over the weekend.
About half the tickets for concerts on Feb. 8, 14 and 15 are sold, although marketing staff say tickets at all price ranges remain available.

The concerts will be the first opportunity for the public to see inside the newly renovated Orchestra Hall. There will be open houses for the public starting at 4 p.m. on the days of the concerts.
The renovation included replacing seats in the hall, and moving them slightly further apart. This means wider seats, with more leg room. However its also means almost 400 fewer seats in the hall which now has a capacity of 2,085.
The orchestra is working on the final details of its full subscription season, which staff say will be released shortly.
