No sign of missing fisherman in Shakopee

A Shakopee father and his brother have spent hours scouring the paths along the Minnesota River looking for his son who disappeared after going ice fishing.

Bruce Lindquist says his 37-year-old son, Eric, walked from their townhome Tuesday evening with his auger and fishing gear to his favorite fishing spot along the river in Veterans Memorial Park.

KARE-TV says searchers used a hovercraft and divers to search the river Thursday. A State Patrol helicopter has also been used in the search, but so far there's been no sign of the fisherman.
