India-based tech company expanding Fargo services

An India-based technology company says it's expanding its operations in Fargo.

Tech Mahindra set up shop in North Dakota two years ago in a partnership with Cargill's global business services center. It provides services such as information technology purchasing and invoice processing.

The combined operation currently has 170 employees.

A Tech Mahindra spokesman says the company plans to add 100 more jobs in Fargo in the next year. About a quarter of those positions will be filled by college graduates in the area.

Tech Mahindra is a $3 billion company that earns 48 percent of its revenue from North America.
