The 40th Annual MayDay Parade, presented by In the Heart of the Beast Theatre and friends, progresses down Bloomington Avenue in Minneapolis May 4, 2014. This year's theme for the walking theatrical performance was "Wonder? Wonder!"

May Day was originally celebrated by Celts, who ushered in summer hoping for good luck and a bountiful harvest in the fall. These days, local May Day revelers focus their energies on a parade through the streets of Minneapolis.
