Former President Bill Clinton said to the martyrs and survivors of the civil rights movement, "Thank you isn't good enough. There are no final victories in politics. We were given a mission that will never be completed, to move toward a more perfect union. And we always know, that around every turn in the road, the forces who want to turn back the clock, or divide those who would make a common future, are ready." He spoke at the Civil Rights Summit April 9, 2014 at the LBJ Presidential Library.
