Charges recommended in juvenile sexting case

Oshkosh police say a 12-year-old girl was pressured by her peers to send nude photos of herself to three boys at a parochial school.

Leaders at Valley Christian School called police when they learned about the students' photos. Authorities say one of the boys, ages 14 and 15, also sent a nude photo of himself to the girl.

Oshkosh Police Officer Joe Nichols tells WLUK-TV underage sexting is a growing problem. Nichols says parents shouldn't hesitate to check the content on their children's phones, if they decide to give them one.

Police are recommending charges of disorderly conduct against the children.
