Wounded wildlife pose dilemmas for intervention

Wounded female moose
In this May 4, 2014 photo provided by Mark Ceminsky, a female moose that lost its tail stands along the Gunflint Trail in northeastern Minnesota, about 60 miles from the town of Grand Marais. Wildlife managers believe the moose lost its tail while fighting off a wolf attack. They decided to let nature take its course, and the moose recovered.
