KARE-TV says the lawsuit filed in federal court Tuesday by Reid Sagehorn alleges the defendants violated his constitutional rights by suspending and forcing him to withdraw from school four months before he was expected to graduate. Sagehorn is seeking unnamed monetary damages and other legal relief.

Sagehorn says his tweet about making out with a phy ed teacher was meant to be sarcastic. But a parent saw the post and Sagehorn was suspended for allegedly causing damage to the teacher's reputation.

School district officials did not immediately return a call for comment.
