The Daily Circuit took an in-depth look at the U.S. juvenile detention system last week with journalist Nell Bernstein.

The conversation raised critical questions about physical and psychological abuse in juvenile detention, as well as how issues of race and class factor in.

This week, The Daily Circuit applies those questions to our system here in Minnesota. We look at what Minnesota does differently than other states when it comes to juvenile detention, and what changes could improve the system.

With Guests Sarah Walker and Otis Zanders.

Do you have experience with the juvenile detention system here is Minnesota? What works about the system? What does not? Leave your comments below.
