There are enormous trends affecting the job outlook. We're still recovering from the Great Recession. The labor market is shrinking at an accelerating rate, as baby boomers retire in increasing numbers.

But in an era of massive technological change and employers obsessed with cutting labor costs and a perceived skills mismatch, the future looks uncertain. If millennials are unable to find the jobs they're looking for until later in their careers, how does that affect the overall economy?
