Minnesota-based SuperValu says hackers have broken into its computer network and might have stolen credit card data.

The food distributor and retailer operates several grocery brands, including Cub Foods here in the Twin Cities and Hornbacher's in Fargo-Moorhead.

A statement on its website notes a "criminal intrusion" into the section of its computer network that processes payment card transactions.

Supermarket consultant David J. Livingston joins The Daily Circuit to discuss what the announcement means for Supervalu and what's still unknown.
