Will Scotland declare independence?

Observers now say Scotland's vote this Thursday on independence from the United Kingdom is too close to call. Queen Elizabeth, while maintaining her carefully neutral stance on anything political, said over the weekend that voters in Scotland should think carefully about the future before they go to the polls.

Some are excited about the potential of national independence, but many worry that without England, Scotland's economy will collapse. Indeed, a number of banks have already said they will pull out of the country if Scotland votes for independence.

We talk with BBC correspondent Rob Watson about the mood in Scotland, and what the vote — whichever way it goes — will mean for the country.
