Babes in Bikeland riders in prior years
"Babes in Bikeland" is one of the biggest biking events of the year in the Twin Cities. Our guest, Ginny Marie Herman, is one of the co-organizers.

This week, while Amber D. is away, Gene-O and Patrick chat with one of the Twin Cities's foremost biking instigators, Ginny Marie Herman.

We'll hear about some of Ginny's big events, including "Babes in Bikeland" and "Powderhorn 24." She'll also weigh in on some of the public policy issues of biking in Mpls/St. Paul.

And, though he's still reeling from the loss of his own stolen bike, Patrick starts a conversation on how to prevent bike theft. It's an uphill battle. Bike theft rings are organized. But there are some steps you can and should take.
