Dylan's handwritten lyrics from 1967 inspire today's musicians

Today's Morning Edition music features the song "Spanish Mary" which is one track from an upcoming album based on recently uncovered lyrics handwritten by Bob Dylan.

Rhiannon Giddens of the Carolina Chocolate Drops sings "Spanish Mary" and is one of many well-known musicians who comprise The New Basement Tapes collective. Elvis Costello, Marcus Mumford and Jim James of My Morning Jacket are among those who have contributed to the album Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes, which is due out in November.
