A Duluth man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexually assaulting a preteen girl.
Joseph Wilson received the maximum sentenced Monday for two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in St. Louis County. The 49-year-old was previously convicted of sexual assault in 1992 in Illinois.
Authorities say the victim's mother contacted Duluth police after her daughter told her about the assault. The girl took to the witness stand and testified against Wilson during the trial.
