Pedal Hub: Protecting vulnerable riders
Last February, 26-year-old bicyclist Marcus Nalls was struck and killed by 50-year-old drunk driver John Iverson in Minneapolis. Iverson has since pleaded guilty to criminal vehicular homicide.
In this episode, a discussion of whether the punishment Iverson is seeking is too lenient, and what the community needs to do to better protect vulnerable cyclists.
And, are there enough places to park your bike in the cities? Nope. The Pedal Hubbers kindly demand more bike racks around town.
