MPR News' Cathy Wurzer spoke with University of Minnesota climatologist Mark Seeley about whether the Twin Cities will have the longest streak of days staying below freezing in November since the 1800s.  

We will break the record today if temperatures remain below the freezing point. Seeley says things will begin to warm up over the weekend.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with University of Minnesota Climatologist Mark Seeley about whether the Twin Cities will have the longest streak of days staying below freezing in November since the 1800s.  The record will be broken if today stays below the freezing point.  He says it's going to warm up over the weekend though.
