A mother whose 1-year-old daughter died earlier this year says her family has been through enough — so it's hard to comprehend why anyone would steal Christmas decorations from the girl's grave in Roseville.
Thieves took small lighted trees, angel ornaments and figurines over the weekend at Roselawn Cemetery. Stephanie Palewicz says her daughter, Fiona, died in June, just a few months before her second birthday. Palewicz says that she's reluctant to put anything else on her daughter's grave because of concerns it would be stolen.
KSTP-TV reports Roseville police say there haven't been any other reports of decoration thefts at the cemetery.
