Gaertner responds to Garner case, the use of grand juries

A Staten Island grand jury's decision not to indict a police officer for the death of Eric Garner has led to protests nationwide.

Garner, a unarmed black male, died after he was put in a chokehold by Officer Daniel Pantaleo.

This decision comes on the heels of a similar grand jury decision in Ferguson, Missouri which decided not to indict Police Officer Darren Wilson for the death of Michael Brown.

Attorney Susan Gaertner joins The Daily Circuit to talk about the use of grand juries in American law.
