Traffic was backed up on westbound Interstate 94 on Friday morning after an accident in the Lowry Hill Tunnel.

Traffic cameras showed at least four cars involved in the accident blocking all but one lane in the tunnel around 7 a.m.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly after but it wasn't immediately clear if anyone was injured.

All lanes were cleared shortly after 8 a.m., although westbound traffic on the interstate was still backed up.
