Ed Eide will retire from his position as executive director of the Mental Health Association of Minnesota next week.
That group, which is more than seven decades old, helps people navigate the mental health system, educates the public about mental health issues and advocates for policy changes.
As he finishes up seven years at the helm, Eide joins The Daily Circuit to discuss how the Affordable Care Act changes access to care, the upcoming legislative session and efforts to improve how police respond to mental health crises.
