A divided Minnesota State Legislature is getting back to work. Lawmakers must make decisions about how to spend, save or return the state's projected budget surplus.

Gov. Mark Dayton, starting his second term, has said he will not push for new taxes other than to fund transportation projects. The DFL majority leader of the state Senate and the new Republican speaker of the House join The Daily Circuit to discuss the session.
