Minnesota teams losing at a scary rate

The University of Minnesota Gophers women's basketball team lost a close one at Williams Arena to 12th-ranked Maryland on Sunday. That broke the team's 10-game winning streak.

While the Gophers women were unhappy to see their streak end, many of the other winter sports teams around here are on streaks they would like to break.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Howard Sinker, a digital sports editor for the Star Tribune, about all the losing lately for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Wild and the Gophers men's basketball team.
