Do you know your great-grandparents' names?
On this edition of A Beautiful World, Heather McElhatton talks with Dr. Barry Baines, vice president of Celebrations of Life. Baines says most people don't know the names of their great-grandparents.
In fact, he says, your great-grandchildren probably won't know your name either — unless you do something about it.
Writing a "legacy letter" or an ethical will offers the means to share thoughts, memories, hopes and dreams with future generations, Baines says. A legacy letter is not a legal document. However, it does distribute a person's values and is a heartfelt expression of what truly matters to the author.
